Undercover Cal
Callium Rowe wakes after being beaten by someone from his base to make him look like less of a threat to the enimies. As he wakes up he realizes he is at the enimies base. His job has begun. He goes to the commander of the base and talks him into leaving the base because Cal told them about Path Special Forces just a few miles away. Once they leave the path catch up to them and give them "the choice". -

The Darkest Path

Cal Returns
Cal returns to the base and sees his brother. He gives his brother 3 inhailers tonhelp with his asthma. Citizens like them are not supposed to have things like that. -
Day at the kennel
Cal goes to the kennels to feed the dogs but when he gets there he is told to go get a stray dog. -
Day at the Kennel
Cal finds the dog but it is too small and he does not want to bring the dog back to the other dogs at the kennel. He thinks the other dogs would kill him so he tells him to leave but the dog walks closer. The two end up playing for about an hour when all of a sudden Quarrels truck starts to pull up. -
Quarrels Dies
Quarrels pulls up and yells at Cal. He reaches for the dog and the dog bites him and runs away. Quarrels reaches for his gun and Cal jumps on him and knocks the gun away from Quarrels. Cal shoots Quarrels in the chest and sits back shaking. Quarrels has died. -
Back to the Base
Cal takes Quarrels truck and drives back to the base. When it is his turn to drive through the checkpoint, he tells the guard Quarrels has gone after a pack they have found and that Cal will be going back out later after he grabs more crates for the dogs. The guard waves him through. -
Time to go
Cal finds his brother James and tells him what has happend. He tells James they have to leave and James goes to get supplies. Cal goes to the kennels and grabs Bear, the small dog he found earlier. Before he is able to leave James shows up with guards right next to him. He tries to tell Cal that every thing will be ok but Cal pulls a lever and all the hungery dogs run atv the guards. Cal grabs James and throws him in the truck. -
The chase
Cal drives the truck through the enterance of the base and out into the open desert with base police right behind them. They get into a crash with the police car once they enter the interstate. Cal grabs Bear and James and run into open desert. They find a small cave that they stop to stay in for the night. James leaves Cal and goes back to the base. Cal wants to tell him to come back but he knows he has already lost his brother. -
escape route
Cal and Bear wake up and start to move on. They walk through the desert until they see a military convoy when they have a chance they run to one of the trucks in the back and jump into the back of the tractor trailer. The truck driver comes around the truck and jumps in the trailer. Cal holds Bear's muzzle shut but he manages to slip away and run to the man. The man plays with Bear a little then looks to see if anyone was with him. When he sees Cal he freezes. -
Convoy Checkpoint
The truck driver helps Cal get closer to the border but the convoy is suddenly stopped by Path Special Forces who are looking for a kid with a dog. The driver tells Cal about the plan for him to escape using a hatch to get below the truck and then escape to the desert in the darkness. When it is their turn the special forces tell the driver to step down from the truck they ask him where the kid is but he tells them he doesn't know. The guards shoot the man and Cal runs into the desert night. -
Wade's house
Cal learned about this man named Wade who help runaways like him from the truck driver. Cal finds the house and goes inside to get the keys to the truck while Wade and the young girl sleep. He grabs thge keys and then is suddenly frozen. He feels the coldness of a shotgun barrel to his head. Wade tells him to stand up and go downstairs. Wade locks Cal up downstairs then tells him a few Path soilders will be by in the mourning. -
Crossing the border
As Cal walks around the checkpoint he beleives he is just about across when he hears footsteps close by. He drops to the ground and grabs Bear just as a Path soilder slowly walks by. Bear squirms away and goes to the soilder. The soilder raises his gun then lowers it to pet Bear. Cal stands up and surprises the soilder. The soilder raises his gun and tells Cal to get on his knees. 4 people walk up behind the soilder and put a gun to his head. -
On the road
After leaving Wade's house, Cal takes the truck and drives toward the border between the path and the U.S. army. Once he gets there he sees a Path Checkpoint. He parks the truck and walks the rest of the way. In the darkness of the night, Cal decides he should try to cross as far away from the checkpoint as possible. -
Across the Border
Cal stands up to see what has happened. He sees that the 4 people are 3 boys and 1 girl all about his age. The girl tells him to get back on his knees and points the gun at him. He notices the girl is in charge. They end up destroying and taking supplies from a path supply truck and go back to the town they were from. -
Wade's House
The next day the little girl comes down the stairs to play with Cal's dog. Cal talks to her for a while when Wade comes down the stairs. Wades holds the shotgun facing Cal. Cal gets ahold of the gun and tells Wade to go tell the Path soilders the the runaway got away or he would tell the men about the little girl and she would alos be forced to be a path soilder. Wade goes upstairs and tells the soilders. The soilders leave and Cal takes Wade's truck and leaves.
