    The intolerable acts were laws passed by the British parliament in 1774. The American people felt they couldn't live under such unfair laws. These laws were passed as punishment for the Boston tea party

    Common sense put forth a argument saying that they should break away from British law. This book was a huge influence on people who were undecided about wether they should break away from British law it influenced them and they saw breaking away as the best decision
  • The Declaration of Independence

    On June 11th, continental congress appointed 5 leaders to write a document. This document explained why they claimed their independence. On June 4th, the congress adopted the final draft The Declaration of independence. June 4th is now the celebrated day of independence in the US.
  • Declaration of Rights

    The bill of rights is the first 10 amendments. The point of this was to make the rights of us citizens insured. This was based on multiple other documents like the Magna Carta.
  • Failed Government

    This was a time of economic crisis in the US. It was during the 1930s it was an extreme low in the economic system in the US. Many people were out of jobs, food, housing, and much more.

    This was a armed uprise in Massachusetts. This was during 1786 and 1787. It was called the American revolutionary war.
