Conflict
Celie is verbally and physically abused by different men making her feel worthless. Celie is made out to seem to have no sense of hope and feels as though no one can help her from the violence. She believes that she cant do anything about hoe they treat her she just thinks she has to manage to survive. -
Rising Action
Shug helps Celie in her most hardest times. She helps her understand god, sexuality, and love. Shug also helps Celie find Netties lost letters that Mr.____ hid from her. Because of shugs help Celie finds her voice and self-worth. -
Turning point
Celie gained self confidence through her relationship with Shug.
She was able to manage to defend herself from Mr.____by lashing out at him angrily. Celie and Shug later on move to Tennesse and opens a clothing store. -
Falling Action
Celie returns to Georgia as a succesful entrepeneur. Mr.___ had changed alot after Celie left. Celie then inherits her family's home after Alphonso's death. And has Nettie, Samuel, olivia, and Adam live with her.
