Starting of the story
Pency had a game with Haxon Hall.
Holden left all the fencing stuff on the train wich made then lost the eligibility. -
say good bye to his teacher
He went to say goodbye to Mr Spencer -
Back to the dormitary
Stradlater asked him to write something for him before he went to dating eith Jane and wrote about a baseball glove. Both of them were not happy. Holden thought Stradlater might did something to Jane in that "Godam car" and he finally beat Stradlater in his face but was soon defeated by Stradlater. -
After the fight
Holden then left pency and decided to stay in a hotel until Wednseday. -
Go to a hotel
He met Mrs Morrow on his tour.
He successfully went into the hotel and got a room.
He saw a lot of men and women are behaving dirtily.
He danced with a blond woman.
He went to the club and then walked back to the hotel.
He met Mr Maurice and called a prostitue.
The prostitue Sunny came but Holden was to nervous to finish the "work" , he gave her 5$ and ask her to go. -
Beat by Maurice
Holden was asked to purchase 5 $ more and he was beaten by Maurice since he refuse to do so. -
The Second Day
He asked Sally to hang out after he woke up.
He met two nuns during his breakfast and donated ten dollars.
he then bought a "Little Shirley Beans" disc for his sister.
He heard a child singing the song "The Catcher in THe Rye".
This is the first time "The catcher in The Rye " appear in the book. -
In the afternoon
He went to broadway with Sally.
After that Sally wanted to go to the ice rink.
Holden ask Sally to elope with him but was rufused.
He was angry and said she let him got a "royal pain in the ass".
She began crying and left right away. -
at night
He felt upset and went to a christmas performance.
Then he got drunk.
He went to the central park tosee if the ducks were ok , and broke the disc he brought for his sister. He then decided to see his sister .
He slide back to his apartment and saw his sister. He told her that he wanted to be the catcher in the rye.
He was nearly caught by his parents when they were back.
He then went to find Mr. Antolini. -
At Mr Antolini's
Mr Antolini was kind to him and told him that " THe mark of an immature man is that he wants to die nobly for a cause , while the mark of a mature man is that he wants to live humbly for one."
Holden then slept at Antolini's house. He found that he was touching his head at the mid of the night.
Holden thought he might be a homosexual guy. And runaway. -
the last day
He sent a massage to Phoebe, his sister to ask her to come to meet him after school because he decided to go to the west.
Phoebe said she wanted to go with him. Those Holden refused she still persisted. Finally , he decided not to go. They went to the zoo next and he became very delightful when he saw Phoebe on the carrousel.
