Mr. and Mrs. Spencer's house
Holden was invited in by Mrs. Spencer because he was outside in the cold -
Pency Prep School
Holden went from Mr. and Mrs. Spencer's to his school that he was kicked out of. He had a little bit of time before he had to leave so he lived there at the time. -
With Stradlater in their room
Stradlator comes into the room with Holden and they talk about the english project Stradlator needed Holden to do for him. -
The movies
Holden saw a movie with Ackley and Brossard when they left the dining hall. he was out till about 8:45PM. -
Pency Prep School in his room with Stradlator
Holden and Stradlator were in his room. this is when Stradlator gets pissed over Holden typing up his paper about the wrong thing. Holden ends up getting mad about Jane and swings at Stradlator and misses. Holden ends up with a busted up nose. -
Ackleys Room
Holden went to talk to Ackley about the fight and showed him his bloody nose and explained what the fighting was for. -
The Train Station
Holden walked from the school to the train station because it was too late at night for him to call up a cab. -
At a Hotel in Edmont
This is the first hotel Holden stays at. He gets there by taxi. -
The Lavender Room
Holden comes here to get a drink and meets 3 girls from Seattle, Washington. They give him the cold shoulder most of the time but he ends up dancing with one of the girls. -
The Lobby of the Hotel
This is where Holden sits down and thinks about Stradlator and Jane being together which made Holden mad. -
Ernie's
Holden came here and listened to Ernie play the piano. He met his old friend Lilian there too. -
Going Back to the Hotel
Holden walks 41 blocks to his hotel and he meets Maurice, the elevator guy who is also an undercover pimp. Maurice tells Holden 5 bucks a throw and 15 bucks a night. So Holden orders a hooker and waits at his hotel until Sunny, his hooker, leaves. He didnt do anything with her besides talk. He pays her 5$ and she said it was 10$ and he refused to pay the extra 5$ he wasnt supposed to pay. -
At the Hotel After Sunny Left
Holden gets ready for bed. The pimp and the prostitute came back with new made up prices. Sunny and Maurice came in and robbed him for the 5$ he wasnt supposed to pay. Maurice punches Holden in the stomach and Sunny went through Holden's wallet and took 5$. -
A Sandwich Bar Near the Train Station
Holden makes a date with Sally and gets a taxi ride to the train station. Here, he eats breakfast at a Sandwich Bar with two nuns that he started to talk to. He ends up donating to their charity and gives them 10$. -
The Museum
Holden asks a random little girl if she knows Phoebe. She says she might be in the Museum, but Holden decided that he didnt want to go into the Museum and turned around and walked away. -
On His Date with Sally
Holden waits for Sally on a bench under th big clock. when they meet up, they walk around and end up going to the ice skating rink. they skate around for a little bit and then leave to get drinks and food for themsleves. -
The Movies in Radio City
Holden came here after the movies because he had to kill some time before he hung out with his friend Carl at the bar. -
The Wicker Bar
This is where Holden met up with Carl to have a drink and talk for a little bit. -
The Park
Holden decided to come here to relax becaue he didnt have anywhere to go at the time. He dunked his head in the water before he came here and he thought he was going to die from amonia. -

Holden's Apartment
Holden ended up walking here from the park because he wanted to see his younger sister, Phoebe. She ended up figuring out that he got kicked out of his school. She ends up forgeting about it and her mom showed up. Holden hid in the closet in Phoebe's room and she pretends she smoked a cigarette to cover for Holden smoking in the house when he was supposed to be at school. After their mother left, Phoebe gave Holden her christmas money and Holden had to sneak out the window. -
Mr. and Mrs. Antolini's Apartment
Before Holden's mom came home, he called his old english teacher, Mr. Antolini. This is where he went to stay after he snuck back out of his house. Holden woke up in the middle of the first night, though, to Mr. Antolini petting his head. He left his apartment now to move somewhere else where he could become a farmer. -
Back at the Museum
Holden walked around Fifth Avenue for a little bit, and then he dropped off a note to his sister at the school. He ended up meeting up with Phoebe at the meseum and she wanted to move with him. He kept saying no until he decided to stay in New York with his family whether he got in trouble or not. -
The End
Holden just talks about how he will miss everybody even though he didnt like most of the people he missed.
