American revolution[1]

The American Revolution and the events then were influenced by new Enlightenment ideas that changed government and the people's idea of freedom and everyone's rights.

At the same time the created the Declaratory Act so they could the tax on the colonies. The colonies believed they were not represented in the way they wanted.
