    South Carolina is able to fend off the British due to having a difficult harbor. This causes them to be left alone from the Redcoats for 3 years.

    George Washington crossed the frozen river on Christmas night. He did this because the British guard was down due to them celebrating the holiday.

    After the war is over, British loyalists flee the US to Canada, which is still under rule of France, and Britain. This causes a lot of Canada's development as a country.
