  • Wright Brothers Born

  • Wrights Mom Dies

  • Wilbur and Orville visit an Aeronautical Museum and it intrests them

  • Orville built a biplane kite

  • First Glider Built

  • They improved their glider.

In 1901 the brothers improved their glider and gave another try in kitty hawk. This time the improved glider broke the world record by reaching 389 feet, but they were still not satisfied and belived they could make it go higher and fly longer.
  • The brothers had a new design

In 1902 the brothers had a new design that had ruder control withwing warping and proper roder movement, they could get more. That way they could get a more stable flight. This time they brocke another record, and the flight scored more than 600-feet.
  • An American scientist, SamuelP. Langley, made one model that was powered by a small steam angine and flew three quarters of a mile witout a pilot

in 1903, an american scientist, samuel P.Langley, made one model that was powerend by a small angine and flew three quarters of a mile without a pilot.
  • The American scientist tried his airplane, which was mounted on rails

The American scientist tried his airplane, which was mounted on rails fastened to the roof of a house boat. The experiment unfortunately failed and the plane raced down the rails and dived into the water.
  • The brothers tried their engine powered machine that they called flyev 1.

The brothers tried their engine powered machine that thy called flyer 1. At 10:30A.M. the brothers shook hands as the plane rumbled to life, history was about to be made. Orville went on Flyer 1 face down along side the angine on the lower wing. Orville gave the signal to Wilber that he was ready.Sudenly the plane rolled faster and faster, then finnaly rose of the ground; Orville was the first person to fly a plane.
  • The brothers perfected an amazing airplane

In 1908 the brothers perfected an amazing airplane. It could fly 25 miles and stay in air for 30 minuts; it had a speed of 40 miles per hour. The pilot would have so much control it could fly in circles an do figures of eight.
  • The Wright brothers built a factory

In 1909 the Wright brothers formed a Wright co.and opened a factory to manyfacture aircraft.
  • Wilber Wright died

Unfortunatly Wilber Wright did'nt live long to see improvements on the plane;he died in 1912 from the typhoid fever.
  • The jet engine

British mechanic Frank Whittle creates the jet engine.
  • Boeing 747 (jumbo jet)

The Boeing 747 is a wide-body commercial airliner and cargo transport, often referred to by its original nickname, Jumbo Jet, or Queen of the Skies. It is among the world's most recognizable aircraft, and was the first wide-body ever produced.
  • Boeing 777-200

Boeing's advanced widebody 777 twin incorporates more advanced technologies than any other previous Boeing airliner, and has been progressively developed into increasingly longer range developments.
  • Boeing 777

The Boeing 777 has seating for over 300 people and it was designed to replace older, wide-body airliners. It is the world's largest twinjet and is commonly referred to as the "Triple Seven".it was differnt because for the first time, eight major airlines – All Nippon Airways, American Airlines, British Airways, Cathay Pacific Airways, Delta Air Lines, Japan Airlines, Qantas, and United Airlines - had a role in the developement of the airliner design.
  • Steve Fossett

Steve Fossett makes a non-stop non-refueled solo flight around the world.
