    First Phone (Alexander Graham Bell)
    The creation of the first phone is a matter of debate, but the man who has the strongest claim as "creator" is Alexandre Graham Bell. The function of the original phone was to transmit a bi-directional electronic tranmision. As you can see in the picture, the first phone is kind of odd, nothing as we know right now.

  • Candle Stick

    Candle Stick
    It was separated into two pieces, which consisted of a mouth piece that formed the candlestick part, and the reciever that was placed on your ear to listen to the call.
  • Rotary Phone

    Rotary Phone
    This phone consisted of two pieces, the phone itself and a base where you would rotate a dial to the number you wanted, and then realease and do that all over again, until you made the whole number.
  • Push Botton

    Push Botton
    This was actually the same as the rotary phone, the only difference it had was that they didn't have the rotary device, they had buttons, which you had to push in order to make a call. It consisted of 2 parts, the phone itself which you put in your head, and the base, where the buttons where.
  • First Movile Phone

    First Movile Phone
    The Motorola DynaTAC 8000X was the first mobile phone that was commercialized, a brick was its form and it had buttons to dial the number. It weighted 1.75 pounds and had a battery that lasted 30 minutes (making calls). However the cost was not so good, it costed arounf four thousand dollars, which made it a little bit difficult for people to buy one.
  • Blackberry

    Blackberry
    The blackberry was really popular years before 2007, they had a really nice keyboard that was actually beneath the screen of the phone. Its popularity based mainly on the easy acces to the email's, the web and the blackberry messenger. However its popularity deacreased quickly as the iphone appeared in 2007, altough many people missed the awsome physical keyboard, their sells dicreased fast.
  • Motorola RAZR

    Motorola RAZR
    This was one of the best movile phones for Motorola, it sold 130, million units, and it was announced in 2004. They perfected the flip phone design. It was just .54 inches thin. This was a fashion device in its times, but its popularity declined rapidly as the new touchscreen smartphones appeared.
  • IPhone

    IPhone
    The IPhone was really popular because of its sleek design, intelligent apps, intuitive sensors and features and of course, because it was apple-made. Even though it lacked some features at the beginning (such as copy paste) it was updated from software every year. To the year, it is still the "best phone in the market"
  • Android OS

    Android OS
    Thw android company started in the year of 2003, but later Google bought it in 2005, the main porpouse was that they wanted to compete with windows, OSX and blackberry. Its first phone was lunched in 2008, the HTC dream. Even though they didn't start really well now they are the leading in alternative iphone devices.
