  • Seven win rights back with ten (and foxtel)

When the rights were offered again in January 2006 for the 2007 to 2011 seasons, Seven formed an alliance with Ten and used its guaranteed last bid rights to match Nine's offer of $780 million to win back the broadcast rights. After lengthy negotiations, Foxtel agreed to be a broadcast partner.
