    During the battle at San Juan Hill series of charges up San Juan on his horse. He rode up and down and even killed a few enemy soldiers while regiments fought right alongside him. His regiment though were called the Roosevelt Rough Riders

They obviously wanted more representation, better wages, safer working conditions and etc. This strike created a huge shortage of coal to major cities. This strike went on from May 12, 1902 to October 23, 1902

    Smithsonian and Theodore Roosevelt teamed up to go to Africa on an expedition. The purpose was to collect new specimens for their new history museum. An expedition led to over 1000 specimens being collected, 500 being big game.
