    The first public trains, was started in England in 1603. The first public trains were from the ideas of german miners which by the time was english property. It ran on steam for approximately 2 miles long, it would take this train 30 minutes or more to get to the other destination.

    The first camera was made in 1888. It was made by Kodak, it was about half a metre high, 25 centimetres wide and 60 centimetres long. It was the most popular technology in the 19th century. Compared to nowadays cameras you would rather not take a photo with it.

    The first “car” to ever be produced was the Benz 3-wheeler. This car was powered by a simple one-piston engine and powered by gasoline. The engine was loud, the ride was uncomfortable, there were no suspension springs, or rubber tires. It also had only one seat. As bad as it may seem, it is an amazing break in technology. Only 3 of these were made, and they were made around 100 years ago, in the 1890s, around 1895.

    it is called The Thor washing machine. It was also the first washing machine that has a “real program” for example, in each eight spins it will spin the other way so that it will not get overheated. Although it seems like a fairly easy program but it alone took people 3 months to do it.

    4 wheels, a proper steering wheel, and 2 seats with a gas pedal, brake pedal and a clutch pedal. Yes, it’s the Ford Model-T. The Ford was actually the first car in the world to be mass-produced. There was a factory, but no machines. All Model-Ts were hand-made, built with the use of an assembly line. The Model-T was made for 20 years, from 1908 to 1927. During the last few years of productions, the Model-T had 4 doors and 4 seats, like a normal sedan today.

    In 1927, the Ford Model A was created, it preceded the Model T and became America’s most commonly used car model. The Model A was the first to use a modern standard driver's controls, such as the way the brakes and the accelerator was designed and placed. The Model A later stopped producing in 1931.

    Jet planes were getting faster and faster during the 1940s. However, no plane had ever broken the sound barrier. This was until the Bell X-1 came around. In 1947, a pilot flew this plane at 1,600 km/h and became the first aircraft to fly at supersonic speed. When breaking the sound barrier, a phenomenon known as the Sonic Boom happens. It is a sudden increase in drag, and it basically is the object overtaking sound in speed.

    The first wireless telephones were used in 1947 and only the rich can afford a mobile phone so not much were bought. Also it is not like nowadays telephones, it does not have a touch screen and it also weighs 36 kg.

    The Boeing 747 was built to break records, and it did just that. It was the largest jetliner in the air for nearly 45 years. It remained so unspeakably incredible that it was dubbed:”Queen of the Skies”. Even some of the designers of the 747 believed that it was too big to take off. However, we all know today that it isn’t the case. The 747 was also never designed to be the successful passenger aircraft that it is today. It was designed to be a freighter.

    The concorde, as I’m sure everyone has heard of, is the world’s first supersonic passenger aircraft. The concorde is one of the most major technological developments in history. I’m sure everyone will agree. The concorde was never designed to be comfortable, or large and be practical. It was only designed to break records. It did it’s job very well.     That was the day that the Airbus A380 took it’s maiden flight. Having 4 Rolls-Royce Trent 900 engines and body that was lighter but more spacious than the 747. The Airbus A380 is the largest passenger aircraft in the world, being able to seat more than 500 passengers if all the seats are converted to Economy. The A380 broke multiple records that were held by the 747, such as the largest passenger aircraft, and the passenger aircraft with the largest wingspan

    The first touch phone is evented. It is a I Phone 2 and it is the first ever phone that uses 1G service. It was later succeded by I Phone 3.
