    President Harding suddenly passes away and is replaced with his Vice President Calvin Coolidge

  • Coolidge Re-elected

    President Coolidge is re-elected and starts his second term.

  • Herbert Hoover

    Herbert Hoover is elected as the 31st President of the United States.

  • Stock Market Crash

    The stock market crashed mirroring the great depression. Americans are forced into poverty and banks are facing bankruptcy.

  • Hattie Wyatt Caraway

    Hattie Caraway is elected as the first women in the senate following the death of her husband. She is later re-elected in 1932 and 1938

  • Twentieth Amendment

    The 20th amendment is passed moving the Presidential Inauguration day from March 4th to January 20th.

  • Franklin Roosevelt

    FDR is sworn in as the 32nd President of the United States.

  • New Deal

    FDR's new deal is enacted by Congress. The new deal was a plan to get American Citizens out of the great depression. Measures were taken to create jobs that will help the environment and economy while hiring thousand of unemployed citizens.

  • Social Security Act

    The Social Security Act is passed which will eventually give senior citizens monthly checks once they are unable to work. Taxes will be taking from working citizens and used for social security.

  • FDR's Second Term

    FDR is re-elected for a second term as US President.

  • Fair Labor Standards Act

    The Fair Labor Standards act is passed setting the minimum wage to .25 cents an hour.

  • World War II

    Conflict for World War II has stared and the United States declares its neutrality.
