FDR's new deal is enacted by Congress. The new deal was a plan to get American Citizens out of the great depression. Measures were taken to create jobs that will help the environment and economy while hiring thousand of unemployed citizens.

The Social Security Act is passed which will eventually give senior citizens monthly checks once they are unable to work. Taxes will be taking from working citizens and used for social security.
