iPad
The iPad was created by Apple and CEO Steve Jobs in January 2010. This invention has helped put a "computer" in a portable device thus allowing people to have the benefits of a phone and computer in one. -
iMessage
In June of 2011 Apple announced the rollout of iMessage. This app allows users to send text messages, pictures, videos, etc on Apple operating systems with the use of WiFi or cellular data. This allows for Apple users to send messages without using cell data. -
Amazon Alexa
Amazon announced the creation of the Amazon Alexa in 2014. This allows people to listen to music and order items by only speaking to the device. It also allows users to "drop-in" through the device to listen in to wherever the device is placed. You can have Alexa set alarms/reminders, tell you the weather, and create lists. -
Apple Watch
This invention allows iPhone users to access calls, messages, and other compatible apps on their watch allowing them the freedom to not have to pull their phone out all the time. These watches can be added to a phone plan to work independently of the phone or just Bluetooth connected to the phone and only operable within a certain distance of the phone. -
Nintendo Switch
The Nintendo Switch was announced in October 2017. This allowed the user to take their video games on the go or connect to the TV when it was on its docking station.
