    On Valentines day the Eniac was first used. Eniac was used for military purposes. It was about 30 meters tall. t took 3 years to build Eniac.

    In 1951, the first video tape recorder (VTR) captured live images from television cameras by changing the information into electrical impulses and saving the information in a magnetic tape.

    Douglas Engelbart was the inventor of the mouse.
    In 1968 was the first public aperance of the mouse.

    The internet was in development as early as the 1957 when the Soviet Union launched a satellite.
    Then Internet was "invented" by the US Department of Defence in 1969.
  • Floppy disk

    In 1971, the world got introduced to the first "memory disk", as it was called then, or the "floppy disk" as it is known today. It was an 8-inch flexible plastic disk. It also had a nickname "floppy" which came from the disk's flexibility.

    Google was finally released to the world, as google.com in 1998.
    On September 21, 1999, Google officially removed the beta (test status) from its title.
