In 2005, IBM sold their PC's and Thinkpads to Lenovo which made them the largest, most important PC manufacturer. -
Iphone was released
The Iphone made its debut and forever changed cell phones. Iphone is still a top cell phone brand and keeps advancing their version of the phone. Consumers went crazy over it and everyone had to have one. -
Android got introduced
A year after the Iphone, google released their own version of a smartphone. The Android, which quickly rose to popularity and has been Apple's number 1 competitor since.
