  • 1/2 US households had Internet

    August 17th, 2000
    Over half of the households in America had internet access.

  • The Blackberry was released

    In March of 2002 the Blackberry came out. The phone was a massive breakthrough and great tool for business people across the globe because not only could people make calls, they could text, browse the internet, and use their email.

  • Lenovo was bought by IBM

    In 2005, IBM sold their PC's and Thinkpads to Lenovo which made them the largest, most important PC manufacturer.

  • Iphone was released

    The Iphone made its debut and forever changed cell phones. Iphone is still a top cell phone brand and keeps advancing their version of the phone. Consumers went crazy over it and everyone had to have one.

  • Android got introduced

    A year after the Iphone, google released their own version of a smartphone. The Android, which quickly rose to popularity and has been Apple's number 1 competitor since.
