Food Network
I love to cook, and although this network was created two years before I was born, it is something I'm grateful for. I love watching the chefs on TV, reading the magazines the send out, receiving recipes in my email that look tasty and delicious, etc. All of this would not be possible without the Food Network. It drives my passion for cooking and gives me creative, new ideas to try out. -
Netflix
I had no idea that Netflix was created only two years after I was born! Although created then, netflix was not popular until many years later, after they started growing the business after receiving a decline to combine with Blockbuster. Netflix is fun, easy to use, and has tons of movies and shows on it that I like to watch. It's great. -
Google
I use Google everyday. It's useful, quick, and easy to use/access. It's simple enough for everyone as well. -
Wikipedia
Wikipedia isn't always the most favored source amongst teachers when I have a paper to write. However, on a daily basis it is a great go-to website to find simple facts or information that peaks one's curiosity. I use it quite often and without it I would have to use an encyclopedia to look things up. That is both boring and if I'm honest, I probably wouldn't do that and, therefore, wouldn't be as knowledgable. -
iPod
Apple ships out the first shipment of iPods on this date. The iPod has significantly impacted my life. I am now able to listen to my music with ease at the gym, at home, in the car, etc. This invention is one that is legendary and has become increasingly popular with each new updated release. They keep improving and get better and better with each new model Apple comes up with. -
Facebook
Facebook has impacted my life in that I am now able to stay connected with friends and family, as well as get notified about what is going on in the news/media. I can get all of this in one place, or really one website/app, Facebook! -
Pinterest
Pinterest started out as a invitation-only website and is now launched as a very succesful app. -
Instagram
Instagram is great for poting and viewing photos with friends. It's convenient, fun, and I use the app often. -
Candy Crush
Candy Crush is a fun game that I quickly became obsessed with the first day I downloaded it.
