    Seagate created the first ever hard disk drive for microcomputers. It held 5mb of storage, 5 times that of a floppy disk drive. Unlike the first HDD ever invented, this drive was much smaller than two refrigerators and did not weigh 2000lbs. It was but 5.25 inches in size.
