    Old English literature, also called Anglo- Saxon literature It's the because of Germany tribes called Saxons. It begins with the invasion of Celtic England by Germanic tribes c.450 and lasts until the conquest of England by the Norman-French William the Conqueror in 1066. These works include genres such as epic poetry, hagiography, sermons, Bible translations, legal works, chronicles and riddles and the most famous example of Old English literature is the anonymous epic Beowulf.

Begins in English Literature, claming comparison with the equivalent flowering under Augustus Caesar. Thomas Paine published "Age of Reason" Literature became very instructive. creative works show a sense of order and moderation. Arguments in prose are calm and logical; poems are carefully structured and often contain classical allusions.

Nowadays, England is invaded by a lot of different people who influence the English language.
