Move from Texas to Florida
Paul was on his way to Florida from Texas . Before he left his imagination of a zombie following his representing that he was part of the family and that problems follow you no matter where you go. -
Muck Fire
When Paul and his mother moved to their new house Paul had smelled smoke and thought that there had been a fire.There was a Munk Fire which is a ground fire that doesn't burn out. -
Legally blind
Pauls mom says that Paul is "llegally blind " but Paul does not agree with her at all about the situation. Paul thought that he was perfectly fine. -
Football Try Outs
Paul family when back to the high school / middle school for to football tryouts. Eric did not have to try out because he had already met up and talked with the football coach. After a while it started to rain and Paul got into the car. Paul saw the football team playing and he joined them . He got tired and left a while after. -
First Day of School
Paul is in middle school and today is his first day of school. When Paul was going to school he was waiting for the bus and he remembered a time that Eric had spread a rumor that Paul had gotten glasses because of the Eclipse. -
Erik
Paul heard Erik kicking the football into the net. Paul had a feeling that Arthur's sister, Paige, was going to become Erik's new girlfriend soon. Paul and Erik hang out with Arthur's sister, and his girlfriend named Tine. -
Lightning Struck.
Paul and his mom were hanging out and she said that maybe he should go hang out with Joey and go run. When they were running Joey pointed out to a house that was struck by lightning a three times. Paul explained to Joey that before they built the house lightning use to always hit and aim to that house. -
Soccer Team
Paul has made the soccer team. The coach told everybody on the team that the school says that everyone gets the uniform , everyone makes the team, and everyone practices but he says that not everyone can go to the game because they have a small bus. -
Mike's death
Paul and mom were getting home and then Erik and Arthur came and said that Mike was killed at school. He explained what happened to Mike and Paul's mom was speechless. She called Paul's dad and he said he was at the hospital with Mike's family and he was pronounced dead. Paul was taking the groceries inside and he heard Erik and his friend laughing about what had happened to Mike.He new they were happy about what had happened to Mike because he didn't fit into Erik's football dream. -
Paul's sad thinking
Paul's mom thought that school was going to be cancelled because of Mike's death but instead they had school and Arthur ended up taking Mike's place in the football team. Paul was thinking about what Joey would be feeling if that was Erik. -
The Big Meet
Paul's mom decided to make a meeting for the parents of the football team. She tried to convince them that they should have practice in the morning but the coach did not agree and he wanted the practice at the same time they always have it. One parent said he could carpool the kids to the practice and all the parents agreed and went home at the end of the night. -
Kicked out of soccer
Coach Walski told Paul that he could not play because he is a handicapped student. He said that if they put Paul in they could lose their insurance which would mean that they lose their program.After Paul discussed the situation with his mom and he told her that he can see perfectly fine but she said that she just told them the truth about him being visually impaired.
Later that day Paul felt like he was feeling very low about himself but he knew that Joey was feeling worst.f -
Carnival
Paul went with Joey and some other classmates to a carnival. They were going to an exhibit called Wonders of the World and Paul saw an exhibit named "The Boy Who Never Grew " . When he was looking at bit he lost his classmates and after they went home he was thinking of it the whole way. -
Sheriff Complaint
Paul and a couple other friends got sent to the office during school. they said that they had called them to the office because the school had got a complaint from the Sheriff at the carnival . Paul explained to them that they had done nothing and they were other soccer players from another team. -
New Building
Pauls dad was wondering how he was going to build a buliding on top of a sinkhole and he was frustrated. He said the school had to now relocate more than 500 students. -
Private School
Paul's mom was trying to put him in a private school called St.Anthony's. It was a Catholic Church and his mom said that you did not have to be Catholic to go into the school. -
The First Day of School (Again)
Paul was starting his first day of school (again) at Tangerine Middle. When he got to school Mrs.Fisher was a little worried about Paul's first day. Paul went inside and he saw the principal , Dr.Johnson. Dr.Johnson introduced herself and she also introduced a girl that was going to be showing Paul around his classes and the school.Paul went to all his classes with his guide , Theresa , and ti lunch and went home after. When he got in the car his mom told him that he no longer had an IEP. -
Tangerine Middle School Soccer Team
The next day of school Paul was with Theresa the whole day and then when they were eating lunch the Tangerine soccer team came up to them and start to talk to Paul and talking bad about the Lake Windsor Middle School Team and they said that he couldn't get into the team. -
Soccer Uniforms
Paul and Joey were hanging out after school and they were comparing there uniforms.Joeys uniform was brand new and Paul could tell that his had already been used by another player.After Paul and Joey were talking about how it had gone for Paul after moving to Tangerine Middle. -
First Game
The soccer team had their first game at Palmetto Middle School. When they got to the school they started playing the game and in the middle of the game Paul got knocked down by another player and when he was leaving Paul started jumping on his back and he tumbled him down to the floor and the coaches separated them. Paul went to the side and he was bleeding from his nose. -
Erik's First Game
The score was 7-6 and then if Erik kicked the ball he could make a goal and win for the team. When Erik was about to kick the ball Antoine pulled back the ball and Erik fell on his back into the mud. -
Paul's Second Game
Paul noticed that his parents weren't at his game At halftime Victor was bleeding and couch took him out of the game. They won and went home.
Later that day Paul was talking with his grandma. When he went to his room after he got a call from Cara asking if he was going out with anyone. -
Joey's Neighborhood
Since Victor had his stiches Paul had to replace him. Victor was picking on Joey because he said that he is always following Paul everywhere. When Paul's mom went to pick them up they found out that Joey's neighbor hood was full of Bugs. -
Interupted Practice
Paul was having practice and then he saw a white van pull up and it was Mr.Donny . He wanted to interview the girls on the team because it was news. Victor did not let him go to the girls because he wanted to be in the pictures and he wanted to be interviewed like Maya and Shandra. After they got the last names of Maya and Shandra they drove off. Paul looked at the Tangerine Times and he did not see the pictures that they had took -
Science Project
Paul and some friend were going to do a project at school. The teacher gave them 24 hours to make a group of 4-6 people to work on the project. Paul asked Tino if him and Joey could be in his group and he let them . Paul noticed that Joey didn't have a good feeling about Tino. -
Joey's Attitude
Paul was remembering the time that Joey started school. He remembered that he had asked Theresa if she could guide Joey through the school . Joey said that he didn't need a guide and that you would be blind to not know the way around. Paul ignored him and just told him to not come in with attitude. -
Big Meet
Mrs.Fisher was at a meeting about all the stuff that have been happening. Muck fires , Koi fish because there had been many complaints and they were wondering why there had been many things happening lately. -
Quonset Hut
The street on the west is filled with bugs. Wayne the fireman took Paul to the quonset hut with Henry , Tino , and Luis. Erik and Arthur were in the backyard but then they scared Paul and Paul started to cry. -
Days going Fast
Mr.Fisher , Mrs.Fisher , Erik , and Paul all think that the days are going by super fast . Also Paul has noticed that the best thing that has ever happened to his life was soccer. -
Day Two of Quonset Hut
Mrs.Fisher is going to take Paul back to the Quonset Hut. Paul took out a spray from a first-aid kit because he was getting hot , then he saw Tino and Luis. Paul was feeling very hot and decided to call his mom to pick him up from the Quonset Hut. -
Dinner at Mr.Donnelly's
Mr.Donnelly invited the Fisher family over to dinner. He said he would like to have them over because he thinks that Erik is going to become famous. When they got over there Mr.Donnelly was speaking to Paul about how it was going with the girls on the soccer team. -
Last Game
It was Pauls last soccer game and he was going against the Manatees . Paul and his team were making scores but them it started to rain . When they went in they found out that all the points they had ,made were not going to count anymore. -
Tangerine Time
Paul noticed that on " Tangerine Time " there was an artical on his teams games. When he saw the thing he noticed that Betty's picture was photo shopped. -
Tangerine Middle vs. Lake Windsor
Paul and the Tangerine team were going to play against Lake Windsor Middle School . In the middle of the game Victor saw one of the people that punched him and got out. Shandra vomited and Paul had to go in for her . The coach also told Paul to go in for Victor but at the end of the game they won . -
Erik hits Tino
Today Paul and his science group would all go to Paul's house after school. Wayne , Henry's older brother , was going to take them . Paul and his group were doing the project but then went outside to take a break . When they went outside Erik and Arthur pulled up in the front and went to the backyard where Paul was . Erik gave Tino a weird look . Erik hit Tino in the face and then Tino fell to the floor and Erik and Arthur walked away. The rest of the day Tino did not talk to Paul. -
Hiding the fight
Paul did not want to say anything to mom or dad about what had heppend with Tino and Erik. Tino and Theresa were absent so Paul was able to not talk to them. Paul was thinking about asking his mom for help. He did not ask her though because he thought that she would do nothing and just make Erik apologize. -
Freezing Tree
When Paul went to school the next day there was not many people because of the cold. Paul asked Henry if his bother could drop him off at Tino's house to help with the project . When they got there they started working on the project but then went it because it got colder . -
Vandalized
It was morning and Paul got up and went downstairs to go eat . Mr.Fisher, Mrs.Fisher, and Paul were in the kitchen. Paul was cutting out a picture from Times of the soccer team and Mr.Fisher asked if he was on the team. Paul was a little mad because his father did not pay attention to him playing soccer. A while after Mrs.Fisher got a call from their neighbor that someone had spray painted their walls and smashed the mailboxes. When Paul went outside to go see he didn't see their mailbox. -
Paul’s date
Paul got a call from Kerrie asking if he would be her date to Joey’s house after the ceremony.They were talking about the robberies and the stolen Koi Fish. -
The Death of Luis Cruz
When Paul got to school Henry D. went up to him and told him that Luis Cruz had died because he had gotten hit and got a aneurysm in the head . Paul did not know what to do or say so he told the teacher that he was feeling sick . Paul went to the nurses office to call Mrs.FIsher to pick him up . When Paul got picked up he told mom what had happened. Paul gave a call to Henry to let him know that if he got any new information to let Paul know right away . -
Bad News from Theresa
Paul was at his house when Mr.Fisher went up to him with the phone. He picked it up and it was Theresa. Theresa told him that Tino , Victor and the other guys were talking bad stuff about him so he shouldn't show up at Luis's funeral at all. -
Deep Thinking
Paul was putting on the suit that he wore for Mike's Funeral . Then he went downstairs and he was thinking alot about Luis's and Mike's death. Paul was thinking about Luis not being there to support the family. -
Senior Awards Night
It was the Senior Awards Night at Lake Windsor High in the gym . When Paul's parents arrived they had not started and they were still setting up . Paul and his parents sat down and waited till it started . The Oak Tree dropped dirt and Joey and Paul went to go pick it up . -
Pt.2
Tino was throwing punches at Erik . Coach Warner was telling people to go grab Victor and Tino. Some seniors got a hold of Victor but then he slipped and ran away. -
Under the Bleachers
Paul was on the phone with Joey. Joey said that there was a yellow Mustang in front of Mr.Donnelly's house and that it is probably Betty Bright's. Paul went to go to his house and in the car he found Shandra. They talked about why Antoine did not go collect any awards. Minutes later, Betty Bright, Antoine, and Mr.Donnelly came out. Antoine said that he had one more stop to make and Paul knew where it was. It could be the Sheriff's Department to explain to the officers what he witnessed. -
Sports Section on Antoine
Paul was looking at the Tangerine Times and he was looking a lot at the sports section.He said that Mr.Donnelly put a good word in for Antoine because no one else was going to do it. Paul could not keep what he had inside anymore. Paul had asked Mr.Fisher if he had ever seen Antoine with the football guys outside of practicce and the feels. -
Moving Schools
When Paul and mom got to school they wrnt to the front office.Dr.Johnson told him to wait in the nurses office with Tino and Victor.As the nurse pulled them one at a time they told Paul that he was going to have to move schools. -
Truth
Mr.Fisher and Erik went down to the police station to talk to Sergeant Rojas.As soon as they got home he said tht Arthur was trying to blame Erik.He asked Paul if he could write about what he saw. -
Last take
It was in the morning snd it was time for Mr.Fisher to take Paul to his new school.Paul started to think about Luis Cruz because as they were heading to the school Mr.Fisher pointed out Mikes Tree.
