I picked this book because I was very intrested in action books and it tell you how the charctors go step by step doing thing on the boat and how the work together to find each other and help eachother to work as a team so they can surive when they crashed into the rocks and they all when over in the water the author explain very discriped deatales about what happen in the book he also had to decribe them and how the were not a really good team at first so thats why i picked this book I like it. -
on the boat
The boats name is the Lucky star the Lucky star had a main sail and a crows nest it was white it was out at sea for so long the color turned yellow. The charctors in the story are Carter Benson Dextor Joe Kahli Buzz Vanessa. Buzz in the deck handboss and capton of the ship Vaness was the navagtor Carter was the greenhorn witch means the new guy Joe was a cleaner and the cook Dextor was the bully on bord always made fun of me just caus I am fat. It was spposed to be a week sea but things changed -
how it all started
It all started when Carters parents got in a big fight so you know how that goes they got a divorce and his dad left him. His mom got into a drinking addiction and drug addiction and had very deep dipression so she sent him on a late vaction on the lucky star. His dad died in a car acident the next day and his my did not let him go to his furrnel because of what happend. Carter is a 11 year old kid who just wants a normal family that does not fight or have any drinking problems or drug use. -
out at sea
Carter did not know what to do on the he is a scared kid dex gave him a huge patt on the back and said welcome abord kid all of them on the ship are eleven or twelve on the ship but most of them knew what to do in these if there was a bad storm Carter got sea sick alot they call him greeie because his face was always green.Everyone else was fine just the greenhorns always got sick. -
still out at sea
Carter hatted being out at sea because he missed his mom.It is nine oclock at night the wind starts to pick up nobody is sleeping they all are scared that something bad is going to happen Dex is drivimg the boat he is getting nailed with rain BOOM lightning hit the main port Dex yelled we are doing down the engine lights are going off everbody is on the ground then the bottom of the ship is rubbing againts rocks the ship is sinking slowly but shurrly all of the sudden Carter gets hit inthe head -
The island
Then Carter woke up he did not know what to do he looked around and there he was dex in a tree dead. then he saw vanessaand Joe he did not know what happened he thought we have to surive some how the boat was stuck in the rock he said we need to get the emergensey supplies but when he did the other sied of the boat was gone under with him he got cought on a string but he got out in time but he still needs to the supplies packs so he did he grabbed the rope hooked him self on and went under -
supplies
Carter went under he grabbed the supplies they were stuck in the the boat rail he came back when he went back down the supplies are gone he did not know there why and how but they were just gone. He came back up and told them the news they had to surive on there own but they have to work as a team. but it is getting late so we have to build a bed or we risk sleeping in the boat when the waves are still hitting it. So Carter and vanessa and Joe are building the bed so weto bed on a half blanket. -
exploring /food
Carter had to build a help sign on shore so the if a boat or a plain.They went off and started to explore and find food and Buss.Buss knew how to surive .They saw the other side and herd Buzz yelling help he flew abot 100 yards they were starving we need food Carter said Vaness said but we need to get Buzz down first so Carter went up the tree Buzz is on the rope hanging there in a tree and above a rocks carter said vaness catch him Buzz fell Vaness caught him now we need food where should we go -
the storm
Carter and them went out to find food the Waves were picking up Carter said there is a storm comming we need to get food fast there is food in that tree Buzz said Carter was already in the tree he claimed the fruit gt down and went back to the boat the boat was crashing aginst the rocks they are trying to sleep in the lower deck but the other half is gone the ship broke in half boom the ship is half off they all went out of the ship the ship sunk so they all are standing there in shock. -
the plane to hot out
then there was a a plane flying over head Carter and them are hoping that the plane would see there sign but not the plane flew right over Carter wished that his mom and dad wouldent of fought so the would not be in the middle of nowhere and starving and have the capton dead and in a tree. It is about 89degrese out and there are all hot Carter needs water they are all tired hot and thursty we need water thats the most important thing we need because we will die before we need food said Buzz -
four weeks later
somebody please help us Buzz died two days ago because the lack of water and food we all need help we have bad sunburn need new close have ran out of food and water then we herd a chopper it saw are sign I am to weak to get up nothing left in the tank the guy said we will be back for you guys we need to get water and food for you.An hour later they come back we get they get on the chopper they come for me i was so excited to leave this place there was bad weather on the way back who cares. -
my thinking
i thought over all the book was good and kept me instrested in it but i think the book could have been longer because the book just kinda ended in a twist and there is a series about them he does use a lot of discritve words about the shi[p wreck and how Dex got killed and how the blood was dried on the tree and after four weeks there was magots in him over all the book had a lot of action in it and i like the auther because he wrights alot if good books and i like his action books
