With the rapid development of the Internet, the iMac's selling point was fast and convenient. It was relatively afforadable and very user friendly. This is what helped put Apple's name back out there.

    This was a great accomplishment for Apple and helped moved them forward in the computer technology industry.

    In 2003 (unknown date), Steve Jobs was diagnosed with Metastatic Insulinoma, a rare form of pancreatic cancer that causes excessive secretion of the hormone insulin and can spread to other parts of the body. It has a poor prognosis.
    This is significant because it was the cause of death for Steve Jobs.
