Stages of the 3 Trimesters

  • First Trimester Begins

  • First 4 Weeks

    First 4 Weeks
    Your baby's brain,heart and spinal cord will start to form and also his/hers arm and legs buds will appear.Which the baby can also be defined as an embryo.
  • 8 Weeks

    8 Weeks
    The baby's organ will continue to form into parts that go to a regular position and ther heart will beat with a regular rhythm. The sex organ will was also start to formed and the umbilical cord is more visible.
  • 12 Weeks

    12 Weeks
    By this time you will be able to tell if your baby is a boy or girl also the nerves and muscles will start to work together. Or if the sex organs are not yet well shown it will continued into the second trimester.
  • Second Trimester Starts

    16 Weeks
    As the baby conitnues growing in your stomach the muscle tissue and bone as well continue to form .
  • 20 Weeks

    20 Weeks
    Don't be surprised but if you feel a slight movement inside its just your baby who is slightly active. He/she is able to do movement and grows a skin called lanugo that protects it from forming skin underneath.
  • 24 Weeks

    24 Weeks
    As bone marrows create blood cells the lungs start to form but not yet quite ready to function.
  • 32 Weeks

    32 Weeks
    By this period of time the baby's bone should be fully formed and you would not be able to sleep with all the kicks he/she will be giving you. The lungs should be taking little breaths and all the lanugo should fall apart.
  • 36 Weeks

    36 Weeks
    As the vernix gets thickher the body fat will also increase and your baby's body will start to store minerals such as calcium and iron and your baby will have less space to move around.
  • 37 Weeks

    37 Weeks
    Starting from this day on and foward your baby should come and you will pop at any moment! (before 4 weeks) Your baby is considered full term and its organs are ready to function on their own most babies will turn their head in a down position to take place in birth.
