Thomas more was born on the 7th of Febuary 1478 on milk street in London

He was educated st St Anthony's school then went on to study at Oxford in 1484.

In 1501 Thomas More became a barrister. He was a very intellegent man.

Thomas More had to decide between marriage or priesthood. He chose marriage and got married to Jane Colt. He said he would rather be a good husband then a bad priest.

Was made under-sherrif of London.

His wife died and he had four children on his own.
One month later he marries (for the second time) a girl named Alice Middleton. -
He was sent on a mission to Antworp. This is where he started writing his book Utopia.

He was convicted for treason because he would not take the oath of succession.
A few days after Thaomas more was beheaded on tower hill -
Four hundred years after his dead, he was canonized by Pope Pius XI.
