Sports injuries Rhabilitation Timelime

  • Dislocated shoulder (Stage 1)

I have chosen to use pendulum exercise to get the shoulder used to the full range of movement around the joint but there are also alternative exercises for example shrugs just gently lifting the shoulders which doesn't insist if a lot of strenuous movements. it allows the movement to be specific towards the injured area and it also is a very simple exercise to do.
  • Period: to

Rehabilitation for Dislocated shoulder / Inflamation stage

  • Repairment of a Dislocated shoulder (Stage 2)

I have chosen these exercises using isometric and isotonic exercises causing tension and contracting the shoulder but statically. This allows the muscle to maintain stability and build strength. Another way that the shoulder can maintain stability and build strength is by using weight bearing exercise just like shoulder front raiser which consists of brining the arms infront with weight resisting against the injured area.this therefore creates more stronger deltoidas as this exercise is specific
  • specific sports skilled exercise for a dislocated shoulder (Stage 3)

These exercises represent a lot of movement and motion that rugby players perform. I have chosen these because it very sport specific. It allows the shoulder to get used to hitting and making contact. An alternative would be more intensive tackerling drills or gym session focused on shoulders. performing over head shoulder press increasing weight each time. building, strengthen and also confidence within the injury.
  • full recovery time. end of rehabilitation

once the full 12 weeks of rehabilitation process is complete and the injured feels confident within his recovery then he/she can partake in physical activity again. This must only be able to be satifactory if the time and effort is put in propperly. once playing rugby again the injured would need to carry on building upon the shoulder as once injured it is more likely to get injured in that area again.
  • (Stage 1) rehab of Achillies tendonitise

in the first stage of rehab you can use a theromoband whilst performing the planta and dorsi flexsion muscle actions. Alternative exercise from this can be walking then increasing to exagdrated steps lifting the foot up just like dynamic calf raises. this would build upon the strength of the achillies but also buld upon the stability of the ankle. this creats a little tension but builds strength.
  • Period: to

information stage for an Achillies tendonitise

  • repairment stage of achillies tendonitis. (stage 2)

at this stage requiers alot of dynamice exercises so therefore an alternative to what explained could be drills and session just like a circuit class on each stage theres a diffrent dynamic ecxercise working the achillie in a variety of ways. this will increase stability and also stength and power behind the ahillie tendonitise
  • specific sports related remodeling (stage 3)

These exercises practise the techniques of sprinting but with resistance added to them. I picked these exercises as this shows that stage 3 in the rehab progress is sports specific. but an alternative exercise could be going back into trainning but not full time. this will allow the injured to experience the real intensity his fellow team mate train at. he would not want to do full time as this can overload the injury .
  • full recovery of rehab on the achillies tendonitis

once full recovery after 3 weeks the achillies should be able to withstand pressure at high strenous levels. they will be able to compete in rugby games using your feet under some pressure just like jumping, side stepping and driving over the ruck. if done rehad propperly the achillies should be stronger than ever before so less likely to get injured again.
