    Horse racing can be traced all the way back to 700 BC, from the Greek Olympic Games. In America, horse racing started in 1665 by British settlers who brought over the sport. The first race track was called the New Market and was near Long Island New York.

    Scottage immigrants started curling and brought it over to the United States. In 1807, the first club, named The Royal Curling Club started in America.

In 1856, the Montreal Lacross Club was started in Canada and was the beginning of organized lax. In the beginning of lax, only 8 people were on the field, and by 1913, it had grown to 12 people on the field.

    The beginning of soccer started when Gerritt Miller Smith formed the Oneidas, they went undefeated from 1862-1865. After the Civil War, college soccer was first initiated. When British immigrants came to the US, soccer became a lot more popular.

    The ancient Egyptians were the first people who started bowling, and this was traced back to 5,000 BC. In 1901, the first national tournament of the American Bowling Congress took place in Chicago IL. In the 1930s, bowling rapidly grew in popularity all over America.

    FIFA, which stands for Federation Internationale Football Association was first started in Paris on May 21st, 1904. In 1913, FIFA became part of the international board and was granted membership in the US Football Association on August 15.
