    The Rowley case, the courts suggest the IDEA to be "reasonably calculated" when special education and related services are proposed (Crane, 2014). The courts would like to be clear and precise that IDEA does not guarantee any particular result and the provided educational services (Crane, 2014). The initiative of the rulings believes a school district did not apply sufficient education services for a child diagnosed on a handicapped spectrum. Presently, school provides Parental & Child Rights.

    The Garret case, the Administrative Law Judge (ALJ) noted that the parties (Garrets & Sch.Dist.) disagreed over the training or license needed for the care of child (Crane,2014). (ALJ) favor the Garret family, under the IDEA. The school should have accepted the financial responsibility of such license or trained staff (Crane, 2014). Hope future families used the landmark case to do their research and apply the ruling before an IEP meeting to negotiate on services under the IDEA.

        Schaffer V. Weast, 546 U.S. 49
    A lawsuit was filed on behalf of Schaffer's son Brian and his parents felt monies are owed to them because they enrolled their son to a private school and educational services were not meet at his former pub. school under the IDEA (Crane, 2014). After a three-day hearing, it was ruled in favor for of the school district to deny any funding for the parents (Crane, 2014). Later, Parents filed a civil action and the U.S. Dist. Court reverse the ruling decision.
