    When Queen Isabella funded his trip he was suppose to find gold and spices, on his journey he found some gold and spices and he encountered Native Americans on the Bahama islands. Then he went back to Spain and bragged about what he found and that cause for some more explorers to come and check it out.

    Fray Marcos and Esteban Journey

    They were out to look for the seven cities of gold. Esteban was killed because he was always used to wen he helped cure someone he got their ladies, but one tribe was not like that and when he went to get them he realized they didn't do that and he ran away and got shoot by arrows. Fray Marcos report was there was a city with more gold than Mexico City, and that everything was gold.

    He was the very first person to map the Flordia to Texas coast.

    Cortes voyage

    Cortes was a hardcore conquistador, while he was in Mexico City he found TONS of gold. He conquered Mexico City, the Aztec empire was in Mexico City, it was important because the Aztec empire was the bully of the block so all the other tribes were in to help beat them. That united all the other tribes to one.

    DeVacca's Voyage part 1

    DeVacca's leader was Narvaez, he went on his journey to try to make some Indians christans, and explore the Texas coast.

    DeVacca explores Texas, 2nd part

    When he was on the Narvaez expedition they were in a bad storm and ended up crashing on Galveston Island. He was stuck there for eight years, with the Karankawa,couhletican, and others.

    Hernado de Sotowas Moscoso's leader and when he died he was thrown into the Mississippi river, and they also discovered the Mississippi river.

    Coroando's Expedition

    Coroando's Expedition
    He was looking for Cibola and the " Seven Cities Of Gold ", his guide for the second part was a man named Turk. Turk said there were more cities that were completely filled with gold, and that was a lie. So when they walked all that way for nothing so he strangled Turk. There was no importance of Coronado's journey because he found no gold, but he did claim land for spain.
