    Significance- might find life on other planets outside our solar systems.

    Two spacecrafts sent to venus to study Atmosphere of Venus
    To learn about Venus and to see if it is livable.

    realesed to study jupiter and its moons.
    Significance- to understand planets near us and to gain more information on its mmons and atmosphere.

    Gave an idea of how are solar system and planets looked.
  • Hubble space telescope

    carried in to orbit by a spaceshuttle to study ultraviolet rays
    Significance- tells us about celestial bodies in space that are near us, how other galaxies look like, ect.
  • Colombia space shuttle

    7 astronauts died while returning from a 16-day mission. The space shuttle exploded durring re-entry
    Significance- through this incident Nasa tried to safely repair similar damages for later missions
  • Mars exploration

    Rover spirit launch and opportunity launch to mars. both are exploring mars.
    Significance- Possibility of finding out if life exisits in other planets other then Earth.
