Positive and Hope Filled: As a twelve year old, Elon Musk wrote the computer code for a video game. He then sold it fo $500 dollars as Blastar. This shows hope and ambition, since it wasn't very likely that people would consider a twelve year old`s product. He howver was persistent and believed in himself. -

Courage: It is very hard to move to another country, since you are leaving behind your culture and friends and getting out of your comfort zone. This, however, did not faze Elon Musk. He did so at 17 in order to have better opportunities and for it's closeness to the US. He showed courage by taking risks in order to excell. -
Zip2
Persistent and resilient: In 1995, with his brother Kimbal, Elon Musk starte Zip2, a web software company. Although the board of directors insited in merging with another company, Musk argued that they would be better of waiting. His persistency payed off and they were able to sell it in 1999 for $307 million dollars, a much better deal than the one they had at first. -
X.com
Decision Maker: Elon Musk then created X.com, a company that offered online payment services. He then decided to merge with confinity and then alltogether drop the the domain for paypall. When paypall was bought by eBay, Musk was the largest shareholder and received 11.7% of the shares. By making smart business decisions he was able to come out ahead. -
SpaceX
Risk Taker: With the money he had made from previous enterprises, Musk began Space Exploration Technologies, or SpaceX. He knew that it would be hard since it was a sector dominated by NASA and other goverment agencies and that private investment would not be forthcoming. He took the challenge and SpaceX today has completed several missions to the International Space Station and is the biggest privately owned space exploration company. -
Tesla Motors
Commited: Musk believed that mankind`s future lies in innovation and new technologies. His commitment to this ideal is what lead to creat SpaceX and later on Tesla Motors. Tesla Motors is the first electric car company to build fully electric sportscar, a sedan, and now an SUV. Even though the car industry was controlled by petroleum giants, Musk managed to break into it thanks to his commitment to new technologies. -
Solar City
Change Master: Because of radical changes in the world today, Musk developed the idea for Solar City, a company he co-founded with two of his cousins, Its goal is to porvide clean solar energy to households. Since Musk saw that fuels were ruining the ecosystem, he decided to help the world change and started this iniciative.
