This mission had seven astronauts on it. The asteonauts were Francis R. Scobee, Michael J. Smith, Judith A. Resnik, Ellison S. Onizuka, Ronald E. McNai, Gregory B. Jarvis and Sharon Christa McAuliffe. Within 73 seconds into the mission, the spacecraft crashed down into an explosive burn. Nasa believes that the cold weather was the reason this tragedy happened. -

There were six astrounauts in space. The astronauts were James D. Wetherbee, Michael A. Baker, Charles L. Veach, William M. Shepherd, Tamara E. Jernigan, and Steven A. MacLean. The primary mission objective was the deployment of the Laser Geodynamic Satellite II. -

Their were seven astronauts on this mission. The astronauts were James D. Halsell, Susan L. Still, Janice E. Voss, Donald A. Thomas, Michael L. Gernhardt, Roger Crouch and Greg Linteris. The primary objective of this mission was to successfully perform the planned operations of the First Microgravity Science Laboratory. -
Discovery: STS-103
There were seven astronauts on this mission. The astronauts were Curtis L. Brown, Scott J. Kelly, Steven L. Smith, C. Michael Foale, John M. Grunsfield, Claude Nicollier and Jean-Francois Clervoy. The purpose of this mission was to capture the Hubble Space Telescope. -
Endeavour: STS-99
Six astronauts were on the flight for this mission. The astronauts were Kevin R. Kregel, Dominic L. Pudwill Gorie, Janet L. Kavandi, Janice E. Voss, Mamoru Mohri and Gerhard P. J. Thiele. The primary objective of the mission was the Shuttle Radar Topography Mission (SRTM) project.
