    In 1969 American's Neil Armstrong and Edwin "Buzz" Aldrin were ready to go on the moon. They landed on the 20 on July and they but they had to wait 8 hours before going on the moon. Neil Armstrong was the first and then Edwin "Buzz" Aldrin. Michael Collins did not get to go on the moon because he was flying the spacecraft abobe them. Photo website
