This Americas 2nd space craft sent into space by NASA to follow up Mercury. It is no longer active. -

Sent into space before Voyager 1 to study the outer planets by NASA. It is still active and sending out information. -
Voyager 1
In September Voyager 1 was sent into space by NASA to study the outer solar system. Like its twin it is still active sending information. -
Mir
Mir was a space station launched by the Soviet Union to orbit the Earth. It is no longer active. -
Galileo
Galileo was sent into to space to Jupiter to study it and its moons.
It is no longer active due to it crashing into Jupiter's atmosphere -
ISS
The International Space Station is a space station in low Earth orbit and is still active and being used. -
New Horizons
It was sent out by NASA to Pluto and the Kuiper Belt. It is no longer active. -
Calipso
Calipso was a joint mission between NASA and CNES, It was sent out to monitor the Earth and is still active -
Dawn
A space probe launched by NASA to study three known proto-planets of the asteroid belt, Vesta and Ceres. It is still active.
