  • Milkman visits and meets Pilate for the first time

  • Milkman pees on Lena

  • Milkmans becomes friends with Guitar, who is seventeen and Milkman is twelve

  • Milkman sees Hagar for the first time, and falls in love (Not actually though).

  • Milkman begins to work for Macon Jr.

  • Milk notices on of his legs is shorter than the other

  • Milkman and Hagar make love for the first time

  • Milkman hits his father after his father beat his mother

  • Milkman breaks up with Hagar

  • Hagar attempts to kill Milkman at Guitars house

  • Milkman flies out ot Pennsylvania in search of the gold that could still be in the cave

  • Milkman arrives in Danville and meets Reverend Cooper and visits the Butler Mansion where Circe is

  • Milkman buys a cheap car and drives to Shalimar

  • While on a hunting trip Milkman is attacked by Guitar and barely escapes

  • Milkman learns about his past from Susan byrd
