Nazi Germany attacks the Soviet Union, causing the Soviet soldiers to free the Polish. -
New Friends Old Friends
After being seperated, Stanislav and Peter reunite. They also meet Pavel, Lolek, and Jansuz. The five soon became inseparable. -
More New Friends
After stopping for a rest as they were driving to Palestine, the five friends came across a young boy who sold them a baby bear cub. They named him Voytek, which means "smiling warrior." -
Voytek and Dottie
Voytek meets his first animal companion, Dottie, a dalmation. The two began their friendship by playing "chase the tail." The duo get into lots of mischeif and njoy eachother. -
Only One
Throughoutthe camp, only one of the redidents isn't friends with Voyek, Kaska the monkey. She continuosly throws rocks at Voytek. -
Shower Scandal
Voytek, sick of the hot Iraqi weather, discovered showers. He would take hour long showeuse up all the water so the soldiers couldn't use them -
Unique Promotian
After locating an enemy spy, Voytek gets promoted to Private in the Polish Corps. -
New American Icon
The first Rosie the Rivter poster was released to the public. It represented thw women who took over the factory work, while the men were off at war. It also encouraged the soldiers. -
Off to Rome
The Polish and British troops sail from Egypt to Rome to join tthe front lines. This is their first real taste of war. -
Legacy
Once in Rome, Voytek recieves a new job. He becomes an ammuntion carrier for the soldiers. Without him the process would have gone a lot slower. -
Beginning and End
After Kaska has her baby, Kubus, Voytek and her start to get along. But after Kubus dies from the cold Italian weather, Kaska has no purpose in life, She is found dead the next day. -
New Name
The Polish troops recieve a new emblem. It features Voytek carrying a missle. -
The End
World War II ends in Europe. The Nazis are finally beaten. -
New Era
The Brooklyn Dodgers started Jackie Robinson at first base. He was the first african american player allowed in the league and he led the path for all the future players. -
Final Goodbyes
Voytek is left in the Edinburgh zoo in Scotland. His fellow soldiers visited him frequently until he died in 1963.
