  • Boston Tea Party

    The Boston Tea Party was a political protest. The Sons of Liberty dressed as Mohawks and raided a shipment of tea which they tossed into the harbor. This event is significant because it was a revolt against the English Parliament which caused a stream of other events to happen called the Intolerable Acts. Before this point the revolution was generally calm. However, this completely changed the revolution’s intensity.
