Billy was born in Ilium, New York. He was an only child, a son of a barber. He was funny looking to most people. -
Time Warp
Billy entered a time warp where he time traveled back to when he was twelve years old. jumping through time to trips he experienced with his family, such as the Grand Canyon, and the Carlsbad Caverns. -
Lazzaro vs. Dog
Lazzaro tells the story of how he was bitten by a dog and how terrifying and painful it was for him. However, he also mentioned how he got his revenge, because he is big on vengeance. As a result, he took springs and razor blades and put them in steak, fed it to the dogs, and watched him suffer. -
Prisoner of War
Billy became a prisoner of war and is being taken on a train with Roland Weary along with others. People were being treated like cattle, and one person named "Wild Bob" died on the train. The train was going East as the war was ending. -
Time travel
Billy goes back in time to his daughter's wedding night, and how he couldn't sleep. Billy, in the middle of this, was time travelling again when he decided to watch a movie while waiting for the Tralfamadorians and was watching it forwards and backwards. Roland Weary also died of gangrene in his feet, but said that Billy Pilgrim killed him and that he wanted to be avenged. -
Return to Dresden
KV shows a bit of irony when he goes back to Dresden with an old war buddy to see the slaughterhouse where they were prisoners of war, and he talks about how the world would be so much better off without the people of Sodom and Gomorrah. This is ironic because he is currently in a war where death is very very common. He also gives us anecdotes about the background history, and I find the perspective that is taken is interesting, how KV is trying to write this book, as a post prisoner of war. -
Aliens?
Billy Pilgrim claims to be able to travel through time after an airplane crash in 1968, and he also claims to be abducted by aliens known as Tralfamadorians in 1967, in which he learned some interesting things, such as the fact that they don't believe people die, they only appear to die. -
Plane crash
On his way to an optometry convention, Billy experiences a plane crash when the plane crashed into a mountain in Vermont, leaving only the co-pilot and Billy as survivors. -
Valencia's Death
When Billy got in the plane crash and ended up in the hospital, Valencia was racing to the hospital to get to him. On the way there, she got into a crash with another car, and instead of checking for any damages, she kept driving without realizing her exhaust system was broken off. Hysterical, she got to the hospital where she later died of carbon monoxide poisoning. -
Billy's Death
Billy is in Chicago giving a lecture about flying saucers and time, but it's true nature. After the security guards escort him offstage and leave, he is shot and killed by what is believed to be Lazzaro or a friend of Lazzaro's, since he claimed to have his revenge for the death of Roland Weary.
