Simon Bolivar was born on July 24 1783. He was born into a very wealthy family. His mother's name was María de la Concepción Palacios y Blanco,his father's name was Juan Vicente Bolívar y Ponte.He also had 3 sisters and 1 brother. -
Death Of His Father
Simon Bolivar’s father died when he was two and a half in 1786. He died of Tuberculosis. Even though Simon didn't know his father that well he still loved him. -
Death Of His Mother
His mother died when he was nine the year of 1792. She also died of Tuberculosis. It was very sad for him because he had just gotten over his father's death. -
Milicias de Veraguas
When Simon was 14 he entered the military academy, Milicias de Veraguas,where he studied for his later battles. Such as The Battle of Carabobo. -
Marriage
In 1801 he married the daughter of a Spanish nobleman. Her name was María Teresa del Toro y Alayza.They did not have any children. -
Admirable Campaign
Simon Bolivar and the rest of his people invaded Spanish strongholds in Venezuela in 1813. Which started Admirable Campaign. Later the same year because of that the Venezuelan Second Republic started. -

The Battle of Carabobo was in 1821. It effectively made Venezuela an independent country.This was a bloodless war between the U.S and British. -

In 1824, he was given the 33rd degree of Inspector General Honorary. There is no higher level of the general degree. He was proud. -
Death
The death of Simon Bolivar was on December 17 1830. He also died of Tuberculosis. He died right after he resigned as president.
