Chris Simon attempts to break Jarkko Ruutu's leg by stomping on it with a skate

Punishment : 30-game suspension Chris Simon's teammate Tim Jackson got into it with a well-known agitator, Jarkko Ruutu, and Simone decided to include himself in the argument the only way he knew. He first yanked Ruutu's leg out from behind, causing him to fall to his knees, then promptly stomped on Ruutu's right leg with his skate. This happened right infront of the referees, and he was taken straight out of the game. -
Jets strength coach Sal Alosi trips Nolan Carroll, who was running downfield on punt coverage

Punishment : Suspended for remainder of season, fined $25,000 The former Jets strength coach decided that it was a good idea to extend his leg and trip the Dolphins Nolan Carroll, as Carroll ran down the sideline. Since it was an NFL game, there were cameras on almost every field, and Alosi's idiotic attempt at giving his team an edge was quickly exposed.
