Camera Phones
Before phones had cameras, people were forced to carry around disposable cameras or camcorders in order to capture photos or videos. With the invention of camera phones, users could easily take photos and videos with their phones eliminating the need for multiple devices. -
iPod
Before the iPod, people had to carry around CDs and a walkman to play said CDs. This was incredibly inconvenient especially if you wanted to listen to multiple different artists. iPod changed all that by allowing users to download a lot of their music onto one small compact device. -
Facebook
Facebook changed the way the world looked at social media. There were precursors such as MySpace and IM but none of these were able to provide such a user-friendly interface as Facebook. This is ultimately led to their success. -
Youtube
Before Youtube, there really was no efficient way to share videos with your friends over the internet. If you wanted to share a video it would have to be short and the quality would have to be poor. With Youtube, users could upload videos to a community site for their friends and family to see with no limitations. -
The First Iphone
iPhone was a revolutionary phone for its time. It was one of the first smartphones to truly exist and changed the way we viewed phones in general.
