Montgomery Improvement Association
On the 5th December in 1955 the Montgomery Improvement Association is formed, after Rosa Parks' refusal to give up her seat in a Bus in Montgomery and Martin Luther King becomes its president. -

On th 10th and 11th January in 1957 Martin Luther King and other black ministers from the south meet at the Southern Christian Leadership Conference (SCLC) to share strategies about the fight against apartheid. -

Mrtin Luther King delivered his speech "Give us the Ballot" at the Lincoln Memorial in Washingtom, D.C.. It encourages African-Americans to believe in a Life of Justice and Liberty for their population. -

On the 28th August in 1963 thousands of demonstrators joined the march on Washington for Jobs and Freedom to the Lincoln Memorial, where Martin Luther King delivered the famous "I have a dream" speach.
