Nest Thermostat is a smart thermostat, invented by Tony Fadell and Brad that is a self-learning thermostat that conserves energy. I've never had one, but I do have friends that have one. Nest was later bought by Google in 2014. -
Released pre-installed on the iPhone 4S, Siri was invented by Adam Cheyer. It is voice activated, and can answer basic questions, along with searching the web. I can't remember a time before Siri or Alexa. -
Invented by Ahmer Ali Khan, Apple introduced Apple Pay on most of their newest products, including the iPhone 6 and 6S & iWatch. It used Apple Touch iD systems to identify your identity. Can also be used for online purchases. -
HTML5 was started in 2004 by WHATWG as the best alternative over HTML4, released in 1997. Used by coders, HTML5 made it easier to insert videos and games into websites.
