    On February 29, 1736 Mother Ann Lee is born. She was born in Manchester, England. Later on in life, she decided to emigrate to the Americas.

    In England in 1747, they practiced a religion that was also their lifestyle. They lived segregrated by gender, and the lived in dorm like homes. Even though they are segregrated, they come together to pray and work. Their religion was to believe in ccommunicating with their female/male god.

    During the Revolutionary War Lee refuses to sign an oath of allegiance.This and her views lead to her imprisonment for treason.

    In 1784, Mother Ann Lee passed away. When she passed away, Father James Whittaker took her position. Three years later in 1787, Father James Whittaker also passed away. After his passing away, Elder Joseph Meacham took the position.
