Saul looses Donkeys

His father looses his donkeys so he sends Saul and his servent out to look for them. While they're out looking they run into Samuel and God tells Samuel to anoint Saul

Samuel comes to Jesse (David's father) and asks for his sons. In the end, David (the youngest) is anointed king

Saul doesn't kill all Ammorites

God commands Saul to kill all the Amorites. Saul doesn't kill them all. He saves some of the livestock and claims that he will sacrifice them to God. God is not very happy with Saul at all

David and Goliath

Goliath presents a case to the Israelites. Whichever people wins the others will be slaves to them. David rises up and defeats Goliath.

Jonathon gives David his Cloak

Jonathon shows his friendship to David by giving him his outer garment and sword. This shows submission

Saul tries to kill David

Saul and his army chases David and his army. Two different times, David had a chance to kill Saul and he doesn't. He wasn't gonna mess with God's anointed.

Jonathon saves David's life from Saul

Saul is extremely jealous of David and wants to kill him. Jonathon is David's friend so he protects David by listening to his father and shooting arrows to give a message to David.

Jonathon dies in Battle

While in battle with his brothers and Saul, they all get killed. Jonathon included. David is extremely sad.

Saul visits a Witch

God has left Saul and Samuel died so Saul needs someone hear advice from. He goes to a witch to bring Samuel back to life. Samuel tells Saul he will die the next day.

Saul commits suicide

While in battle with his sons, Saul gets wounded. He sees the destruction around him and decides he would rather die. He falls on a sword and kills himself.

David Crowned King

Saul and Jonathon die in battle. Saul's other son is king for 40 years. After Ish-bosheth dies David is king.

David brings ark to Jerusalem

David wants to bring to ark to Jerusalem. On the way, an ox slips and the ark starts to fall. Uzzah grabs the ark and is instantly struck dead. David is rejoicing that he brought the ark to Jerusalem.

David covets Bathsheba after seeing her on the roof. He arranges for her husband's death then marries her. Bathsheba is Solomon's mom.
