  George Custer was boorn on December 5, 1839.

  He lived with his older half-sister and his brother-in-law in Monroe, Michigan. Later he married Libbie and had no kids. He was one of five children

  He was a grammar school teacher in 1855

  He went to West Point, but was very rebellious and nearly expelled.

  He was in the 7th cavalry in 1861 to 1863.

  He was in the Battle of Little Bighorn 1866 in Montana. George Armstrong Custer lead the 7th Cavalry vs. Lakota and Cheyenne warriors in a battle during the civil war. Custer and his men were all killed, making Lakota and Cheyenne the winners. There were 210 casualties

  He died on June 25, 1879 in The Battle of Bighorn in Kansas.
