    On Janurary 26th of 2001, magnitude at 6.9 was india's worst earth quakes in 50 years. The earth quake struck at 8:46 in the morning with the epicenter located 20km northeast of the medieval Guajarati town of Bhuj. The total death toll at more than 2,250. Hospital in Bhuj was packed with patients, but mostly with fractured bones.

    A female white spotted bamboo shark at the Belle Isle Aquarium in Detroit surprised zookeepers in July by giving birth to two babies. But why were they surprised? Because this was a virgin birth. The shark have not been near a male shark for six years and layed a clutch of eggs on april. Doug Sweet said that it was not that surprising as alot of female shark speices. But the eggs are assumed to be infertile and are discarded.
