Ben Arriving In 'Salem's Lot
Ben arrives in Salem's Lot. Looking to get rid of terrible past memories, and find inspiration for a new book the writer has planned. As he's driving he see's a motorcyle, and get's a bad thought coming back to him. He soon gets better seeing parts of his hometown coming back to him, and remembering the better times at his hometown. He continues driving towards Salem's Lot. -

Strange Thing Occur: Event 2
The Marsten House-an old abandoned house which Ben fears- is suddenly bought by a mysterious man named Straker, and his partner Mr. Barlow. Mr. Balow is never seen in public unlike Straker, and soon Ben comes in and sees if its still available to find out its been sold. Considering the house was years old, and haven't been touched in forever. -
Ben's Bad Thoughts With The Marsten House
Ben shows terrible feelings towards the old, big house and still feels scared when seeing it. As he tells his girlfriend Susan about his past he tell's how he saw the past owner dead from suicide. Saying he saw him hanging from a rope he was scarred for life, and another reason he came back was to get rid of these pasts -
Terrible Occurrences
soon after the buying of salem's lot, strange things happen right after. One being, where someone's dog was put up on a fence that was pointed on the ends and practically chopped up and butchered like. Terrible and some characters saying it was teenagers or devil worshippers. which that shows a bad sign knowing its devil worshippers and could lead to worse things. -
A Kidnapping
after awhile it soon transitions to two boys who are gonna go over to a friends house to watch something. both boys being brothers and one younger they take a shortcut which is in the woods. both boys walking along holding hands the younger boy gets scared bc his brother scaring him and soon hearing things. Realizing there is actually "something" following them. it leads to a chase which ends up with both boys missing and the older appearing a day later. the younger one is missing and seems dead -
Both Boys Dead
soon after the boy was brought into medical care and what not he seemed perfectly fine. while the parents still worry about their younger child next thing the older boy gets very sick. it seemed he had marks on his neck, but no one could really tell where they came from. the next day it soon turns out the boy was found dead in bed. he looked very pale like all his blood was drained out of him -
Revealing of Bodies
Two movers soon had to put furniture in the marsten house from Strakers orders. Also having to put locks on doors and other places in which shows no reason, but soon after one of them headed towards the basement to find clothes. clothes of the younger boy who was kidnapped. being shocked in fear he drops the flashlight and runs upstairs. his friend waiting in the mover truck speeds away once he gets in. he tells him, but his friend says it's just his imagination and it's nothing to worry about. -
A Mysterious Death Occurs
Ben wakes up at around 3am from a phone call. It was his friend Matthew Burke's. He said to bring a cross, and to be careful. Ben soon heads toward Matthew's house and when he gets there it shows he has all the lights on in his house. Matt tell's Ben that he had this weird dream where he let in this figure into his room from his window. Then after he awoke to find Mike Ryerson dead on the floor. In which he was related to the other boys deaths, and possibly could have an effect on it. -
The Dead Comes Back?
Matt Burke was an older man. Even though he's all tough he has troubles going upstairs from what happened before. Knowing something is upstairs in the guest bedroom, and hearing all this crazy stuff thats happening so far he isn't taking any chance. Taking a cross upstairs and soon seeing Mike Ryerson again. It says how is canine teeth were long and sharp, and he was scared of the cross screaming "No!" after he pushed him out the window with the cross he soon has a heart attack after badly -
Vampires Are Real
Figuring out that actual vampires exist, Ben and his other friends and priests as well are in trouble. Most of Salem's Lot being turned into vampires they have to either run away or somehow end them. -
Ending of Salem's Lot
Soon after having to kill and or hurt Ben and others soon leave Salem's Lot and left the vampires there. in the epilogue they leave and go to another state or area and visits a church to confess their sins which is the event of what happened. My thinking: the book was very creepy and intense kinda way. i liked it overall and would read more books like it expect maybe narrow the book pages.
