  • Paul's conversion

    Saul changed his name to Paul when he converted. Paul's conversion can be dated to 31–36.It took place on the road to Damascus where he reported to have experienced a vision of the resurrected Jesus.he account in Acts 9 says that both Saul/Paul and the men that were with him heard the voice asking, "Saul! Saul! Why are you persecuting me?” Saul asked, “Who are you, lord?”, to which the voice replied, "I am Jesus, the one you are persecuting! from their on paul was converted.
  • Two week visit to Jerusalem

    Paul and Barnabus left Antioch in Syria and sailed from the nearby port of Seleucia. the probablly traveled on one of the roman merchant ships. they travled to Jersulem to help the famine victims.
  • Ministry in Syria and Cilicia

    Eastern Cilicia, the region in which Tarsus was located, was under the administration of the Roman province of Syria Paul's day. Paul preaches in Syria and Cilicia, making his headquarters in Tarsus.
  • Famine visit

    The next we hear of Paul is when he and Barnabas went to Antioch and taught for “a whole year”. After this they travelled to Jerusalem to help the famine victims . Now the famine occurred in Judea in and during the reign of Claudius as prophesied. It is assumed that the Antioch trip was shortly before this in about 42 and they travelled to Jerusalem in 46.
  • First missionary journey

    The author of the Acts arranges Paul's travels into three separate journeys. The first journey,led initially by Barnabas,takes Paul from Antioch to Cyprus then southern Asia Minor (Anatolia), and back to Antioch. In Cyprus, Paul rebukes and blinds Elymas the magician who was criticizing their teachings. From this point on, Paul is described as the leader of the group.

    The conference was made to sort out problems bewtween Jewish and Gentile christians. They agreed at this conference the Gentile christians will not be burdened by Jewish Laws due to it being unfair towards their beliefs.
  • Second Missionary Journey

    On Pauls second missionary journey, Barnabas wanted to take john (also called mark) but Paul did not think this was wise due tp john deserting him in Pamphylia and not continuing with his word. Because of this, they split in two, Barnabas sailing with mark to cyprus and Paul taking Silas to leave. Pauls execursion was not like his first, he did not reurn for three years since 1949 so it was 1952. His first journey was sailing toCyprus but this time he set out overland through Syria and Cicilia.
  • Return To Jerusalem

    After Pauls second missionary journey, in 1952 he started to make his journey home. Again it was through Syria and Cicilia by foot with Paul taking Silas again, and Barnabas and John on there own by sea.
  • Syrian Antioch

    Antioch in Syria is a town in Turkey which used to be controllled by Alexander the Great before Pauls time. It was the third largest city held by the Roman Empire, with a population of about 300,000 free men and about 500,000 slaves The city was divided into four quarters, each with its own wall, Thw whole city was closed up by its own wall. This was very important during Pauls lifetime.
  • Third Missionary Journey

    In Pauls Third missionary journey, he sailed for Ephesus to Ceaserea. He went up to greet the church and once he did, he went on to Antioch. After he had spent some time there, he went all over the country of Galatia and Phrygia, strengthening all the disciples.Then he passed through the upper coasts, Paul came again to Ephesus. And he went into the synagogue and spoke boldly for three months to them, persuading and concerning the kingdom of God.
  • St. Pauls arrest in Jerusalem

    Once Paul arrived in Jerusalem with his companions from his third missionary journey, The Lord gave him warnings saying that he might expect troubles or imprisonment in the Holy City. But they arrived, with some money of the churches to bring to the church of Jerusalem which was a measure of financial distress. St. Paul was in danger of mob violence so the roman garisson from fortress Antonia called out to make saint Paul there prisoner for them the see the true suffering of christ.

    Paul was brought to the jewish council to be tried. Paul told them of his faith they were unsure of what to do with him some wanted to put him too death other wanted to put him in prison with some freedom to see his friends.
  • Jouney to Jerusalem

    The church gave him a warm welcome but telling him a warning that he would be taken prisoner they told him to go to the temple to show that he wasn't a enemy but a man of god. The christains in Jeruaslem saw paul with Trophimus taking him to the temple they were ouraged and wanted Paul dead they attacked. Someone called the troops and the commander arrested him for his own safety.
