His parents first learned about his wanting to become a priest
Padre was drawn over to a young man, a Capuchin friar who was seeking donations. He said to him " I want to be a friear... with a beard"

He took the Order of Friars Minor Capuchin
Pio knelt infront of the altar and made his very First Profession of the Engelical Counsels of Poverty, Chastity (keeping yourself pure), and Obedience
He explained to many people how he had talked with Jesus, his Guardian Angel, the Madonna, and had suffered attacks with the devil many times.
His health started to get worse
The most depressing day of the year (January 22nd) is known as the 'Don't Worry Be Happy' day in honor of Padre's famous advice that many people know him for: " Pray, Hope and Don't Worry.", it's almost like his feast day
