Santana debuted on the power play unit on Feb. 11 in BU's Beanpot consolation loss to Harvard. BU coach Jack Parker placed Santana on the power play unit with Evan Rodrigues, Danny O'Regan and Matt Nieto to screen goalkeepers. He has assisted on numberous power play goals since the switch was made.
